if you ever decide to update this after the jam, I recommend making more obstacles besides just the ocean mines. also you could make it so that the screen goes farther down and you have to do a an underwater maze of sorts.
i really love the game! it's so much fun to play and i'm slightly addicted heh. i did discover a bug tho :P i don't think the conch shells are supposed to spawn above the ocean
Yeah I have 0 clue what causes this bug, and you're not the only one experiencing it. The shells are hard coded to spawn at a specific coordinate and I have no idea how it ends up there. Seems to be with only the browser build so I'm blaming that. Still frustratingly stupid how that even happens lol
Heyyy!! Your game is incredibly polished! Love it so much! Although sometimes I feel like the hitbox on the bombs is a bit bigger than expected but omg does it feel good to play anyways. A suggestion for better immersion would be for the ability to pop the vacant bubbles :) That would be satisfying! Also if you want variety in enemies, you could have the fisherman lower his hook while you're diving down, to try and catch you on the way, maybe even make deeper levels as time progresses :)

The art style is so cool! Fin Diesel is such a cool and funny name.
